hCaptcha has been really unforgiving recently, and there seems to be some error with it that I cannot narrow down; QuestyCaptcha was a stop-gap for the moment, but it is not ideal, and will need to be replaced. CloudFlare turnstile is generally available, and will be what we update to when the patch to integrate it into ConfirmEdit is merged.
